How ZESP collects, uses and protects information.
Review before launch. This policy describes how this website works as built. Sections marked [Review] must be completed with accurate details about each published app before you rely on this page. Remove this note once reviewed.
Last updated: see the date at the top of this page.
This Privacy Policy explains what information ZESP ("we", "us") collects when you visit this website or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. A separate section covers our mobile applications.
Information you give us
When you use the contact or support form we collect:
- your name
- your email address
- the subject and content of your message
We use this information only to read and respond to your enquiry and to keep a record of support conversations. We do not use it for marketing and we do not sell it.
Website analytics
We use our own, first-party analytics to understand which pages are useful. It is designed to avoid identifying individual visitors:
- No cookies or local storage are used for analytics.
- We record the page visited, the referring website's domain (not the full address), device type (desktop, mobile or tablet), browser and operating system names, and an approximate country when our hosting provider supplies one.
- Your IP address and browser user-agent are combined with a random value that changes every day to create a temporary, one-way identifier. Your IP address is not stored, and the daily random value is deleted after 48 hours, so identifiers cannot be linked back to you or across days.
- If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, no analytics events are recorded.
Raw analytics events are automatically deleted after 90 days. Aggregated daily totals (for example, the number of page views on a given day) are kept for longer and contain no visitor identifiers.
Cookies
This website does not set cookies for visitors. A single strictly necessary cookie is used only when ZESP staff sign in to the site's administration area. See our Cookie Policy for details.
Our mobile applications
Our apps are listed on the Products page. Each app may process data differently, and where an app has its own privacy policy it is linked from that app's page.
[Review] If an app shows ads through Google AdMob, Google and its partners may collect and use device identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA), IP address, and information about your device and ad interactions to serve, measure and personalise ads. You can learn more at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and adjust ad personalisation in your device settings. Describe here any other third-party SDKs your apps use (for example crash reporting or analytics) and what they collect.
Service providers
We use service providers to host this website and its database. They process data on our behalf and only as needed to provide their services. [Review] Name your hosting and database providers and the regions where data is stored.
How long we keep information
- Contact and support messages: kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and related follow-up, then deleted or archived. [Review] State your retention period.
- Raw analytics events: 90 days.
- Aggregated analytics totals: kept long-term; they do not identify anyone.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict its use. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
For data held by an app, see our Data Deletion page.
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and revise the "last updated" date.
